10/23/04 - Sorry so late with this update. Abby is doing great still the happiest dog I have ever seen. We went up to Maine this summer for vacation and she had a ball. Running all around and she is a swimmer. She just followed our boys into the lake and the rest is history. You would of loved to have seen her jump off the dock into the water. It was the funniest thing. Now every time we go up to New Hampshire we cant get her out of the lake there. She weighs in at around 52lbs. She is just a joy to have around.
7/4/04 - Sorry I haven't written sooner. We have been so busy lately. Abby is doing great. She is getting so big. I still have to send new pictures of her. I will do that this week. She is still the happiest dog I have ever seen. Every dog that she meets she loves. We fenced the yard in so all she does is play outside with Nikki and our 3 boys. I would love to have half of her energy. To say the least she is one very tired girl at the end of the night.
4/27/04 - Abby is doing great. She is getting so big. She has to be the happiest dog I have ever seen. Always walking with a smile on her face, especially when we let her and Nikki run loose in the back yard she bounces around the yard. It is the funniest thing I have ever seen. I will send pictures as soon as I get them developed.
3/24/04 - Abby is doing great. I cant believe she has only been with us 2 1/2 weeks. She has gained 5 1/2 lbs since we got her. She is getting along great with our 1 year old boxer Nikki. They have so much fun playing together. As I am typing this the two of them are wrestling in the living room. I thought they would be tired from just coming in from a game of chase the ball. Actually I am the one that chases them to get the ball back to throw again. Than explains why I'm so tired. My 3 boys are having the time of their lives with the two of them. It's great fun running with them in the woods and chasing them in the yard. Thanks again BAR for giving us the chance of adopting Abby. She is such a great addition to our family.
3/19/04 - Just wanted you to know
that Abby is doing great. Nikki and her are getting along great.
They play all the time, share treats it's a great time all around. My
boys just adore her and have a great time out in the back yard with both
dogs.
She went to the vets on Tuesday and weighs 23.6 lbs. She doesn't miss any
meals. She goes back in 2 weeks.
I will do the updates on the dates stated in the contract and will let you
know how everything is going. Sherri
3/6/04 - Ariebby has been adopted.
1/9/04 - Hi all....Ariebby here. I
am a shelter surrender. My mom was given up to the shelter as her dad
didn't want to deal with the pups...mom had me and 2 weeks later her dad
came back to get her and left me :o(
I have been bottle fed and am growing like a weed. Starting to eat some
moist puppy food and dry food that has been softened.
I will be brought up to date on puppy shots and spayed prior to my
leaving.
I have a family all ready and waiting for me and they are so very excited
as they have been waiting a very long time for a puppy girl just like me!!
I love to play and am your typical pouncy girl....mom says I will be a
very active and playful pup so my new family will need to stock up on toys
for me.
I am so very lucky and can't wait until I am big enough to go home.
