6/12/03 - Bell's family reported to his foster Mom that she is eating much better in her forever home than she did when she was at her foster home, and is playing non stop with Duke and Shadow.  She has started her training on the underground electric fence and doing very well with it.  She has also accompanied Jim to work a few times. They are totally in love with her, and with Duke as well.

6/5/03 - Belle has gone home with her new Mom and Dad, and I must say, she was as thrilled with them as they were with her. They were supposed to arrive at 11am this morning, but were so excited about getting Belle that they left Maine at 5 this morning, and I received a phone call from them literally minutes after walking in the door after work this morning.
They are just as excited about getting Duke. These are going to be 2 very loved dogs, and I think, great playmates.

6/2/03 - Bell is pending adoption.

5/29/03 - Hi everybody, it's me, Baby Belle. I sneaked onto the computer while the foster Mom is busy. Boy, am I having lots of fun here. I play with Pace and Robi, and toys, boy, lots of toys here to play with. I like the squeaky toys best, and the chew toys too. Foster Mom says I'm a really good girl too, I love the open screen door where I can let myself out when I have to go potty. I don't have no accidents cause I run thru the special screen door and run down the stairs. See, I'm smart and cute too. (giggle) My foster Mom has been taking me for walks, and says I need to work harder on that, and I will improve with training and age....not sure exactly what that means, but I'm trying very hard to be good at it. I almost gots to meet the kitty cat that lives here, but he keeps running away. He's faster than me, and the Foster Mom, she keeps telling me I gots to stop scaring him so he can meet me. I'm really good sleeping at night, my foster Mom puts me in my huge crate with a marrow bone and a chewy bone, and I'm quiet as a mouse, so the Nana person can get some sleep. Well, guess I should take my nap now, so, talk to everyone later.... Baby Belle

5/28/03 - Hello again from the Boxer Wings Cottage, we had a very good day again today, and Miss Belle went to see our vet. She is heartworm negative, but is presently being treated for a very minor intestinal bug that is NOT contagious or permanent. She will be on antibiotics for approximately 1 week. Now, while at the vet this little girl had the opportunity to see cats which she is fascinated with, but in a playful manor, and small dogs, 2 Boston Terriers thought she was a lot of fun, and Belle definitely agreed with that. She wiggled and wagged her little nubbin at everyone including the vet. She was definitely the hit of the day. Though Belle is your normal playful pup, she can also settle down nicely and spend quiet time resting on a doggy bed or cuddling with Pace and Robi. She does jump up on people and this is something we are working on, and she will need to continue to do so. Her leash walking is also a work in progress but she is doing better even after only a few days with us here. Little Miss Belle has also discovered how to use our swinging screen door and lets herself outside to do her business, and has also gone to the door when she needs to go out and the door is closed, so, she does know to do her potty time outside. She is very playful and loves squeaky toys, hard natural marrow bones and doggy cookies, she also loves playing tug of war with both Pace and Robi. She also loves people, so are you going to be the special family to receive all this love and affection?

5/25/03 - The Boxer Wings Cottage welcomed a new guest today, little Miss Bell, came to visit while waiting for her forever home. What a sweet and energetic little girl she is. Bell is a fawn with white toes all the way around without dew claws, and she has a little white stripe up her nose and white chest. She rode quiet as a little mouse on her way to her foster home, and she would like to thank Paul, Cameron and Simba for her escort to her foster Mom. I will have you all know that she thought Mr. Simba was quiet the handsome escort too. On arrival to her temporary home, she was greeted by Pace and Robi and then it was off to play time in the back yard where she discovered toys, and two great playmates. She did eat a fair dinner this evening of  Iams Large Puppy food along with hamburger, carrots and spinach. Yummmmmmmm. Bell is a trim little girl, but by the looks of her feet, she is going to be a fairly good size girl when she is all grown up. Are you ready of puppy kisses and puppy activity? Well, this just might be that very special girl for you and your family.
