3/8/03 - Daisy has been with us for a month already and we couldn't love her more. She is doing really well on the potty training and she hasn't had an accident in a week. She still has some puppy chewing issues but responds well to the leave it command and we know with a little more work she'll improve on that to.  Daisy is a very affectionate and sweet dog who loves to give hugs and kisses, but the best thing about daisy is her loving and gentle disposition with our children. In closing we consider ourselves very lucky to have found such a terrific dog.

2/20/03 - Bella has had a name change, when we picked her up she was not responding to her name so we let our 4 year old son choose the name daisy. Daisy is responding well to her new name.  She is almost completely house broken and she is fitting right into her new home.  She loves going for car rides and playing in the snow.  In the short time we have had her we have all become very attached to her. We are looking forward to a long and happy life together.

2/9/03 - Bella has been adopted.

2/7/03 - Bella is pending adoption.

2/6/03 - Time to update little Bella. She is a very sweet, typical boxer girl. She loves everyone she meets, and every dog she meets. Nothing seems to bother her. She was spayed on Feb 5th, and she was pretty much out of it when I took her home. I put her in the kitchen, gated it off, and let her sleep it off. Poor thing, she must have been spayed pretty late in the day. On Thursday she was back to her happy self again. She goes in the crate pretty easily, all I have to do is toss in a cookie and in she goes. She is a easy going girl. She may be small, and petite, but she can play rough with the best of them. She is sharing the downstairs with foster boy Max, and these 2 can go at it in full boxer play style for hours. When I let them out, they run around the yard, side by side, crashing into each other occasionally. She is a real pleasure to have around. She has has a few accidents in the house, but not many. She will need a bit of time to get this housetraining thing down pat. She is eating approx 4 cups a day, split between 2 feedings. We really love having this girl around. For such a young dog, she is sooo calm. We don't expect this girl to be staying with us long, but are enjoying her while she is here. Till later.

2/4/03 - A real sweetheart from Long Island.  Watch for updates soon.
