Kaos has gained approximately 20 lbs since last July. He now weighs in at
75 lbs!! He looks great. We will try to post some pictures soon. Although
Kaos looks great he did suffer a torn ACL. He had surgical repair on his
right hind leg with an orthopedic vet on April 8, 2004. He recovered very
well and is back to enjoying his lengthy walks. The vet did warn us that
his left knee will most likely need repair as well. Kaos also suffered an
allergic reaction to something that bit him on one of our walks. He became
swollen and was covered in hives. Luckily Benadryl did the trick and he
was better by morning.
Kaos still loves to eat and is very vocal if not fed promptly! He has a
great personality, is loving and loyal. We often wonder who could have
possibly given him up, but lucky for us they did!! Rochelle, Harry and

2/1/04 - Hi Everyone, Kaos is doing excellent. It has been about 6 months that he has been a part of our family. The winter months have been tough as far as not getting to go out for walks as frequently. Kaos had a great holiday and received many gifts from his new family. He is still very vocal especially when it is meal time. Kaos will let you know by barking it is time to be fed!! Kaos is great with the children in the neighborhood. We are glad to see he likes children since we are expecting a baby in April. I look forward to being home more with Kaos when the new baby arrives!
10/27/03 - Kaos is doing excellent! We had a family party this past weekend with lots of young children. Kaos was such a friendly and polite host. He was very happy to play with the kids and didn't try to steal there food. We also purchased a new bed for Kaos. He seems to like it very much. Often times if he is tired he'll go up to sleep before we do! I guess he is feeling comfortable in his new home. We are enjoying Kaos very much. He is everything we wanted in a pet. We hope he is as happy as we are!
9/29/03 - Sorry this update is a few days late. Kaos is
doing excellent. Again, we cannot remember not having him. He is so much a
part of our family!
His health is well. He has gained about 10 pounds and looks great. We
still take him on walks throughout the day for exercise. He enjoys the
walks very much. Kaos is not a huge fan of getting a bath, but he is so
good that he just grins and bears it! Kaos is a very well behaved boxer,
but is also so much fun. We have tested him off leash for short periods
and he stays close to us and listens when called. He also loves rides in
the truck with Harry on the weekends. Kaos lets us know when it is time to
eat! We think that is his favorite time. We are very grateful to have
adopted such a wonderful pet. Rochelle and Harry
8/28/03 - Hi, Kaos is a wonderful dog. He is adapting well to our home. He is a perfect match for us. He also seems to be comfortable with the schedule we have set for him. Kaos loves to go for walks, and we take him every chance we get. He has also socialized well with other dogs, both in the neighborhood and with our families' pets. His diarrhea has resolved. Kaos also visited the vet and was such a good boy there! The bump on his left front paw is something the vet feels comfortable watching at this time. If it changes in size or appearance it may need to be removed. We are enjoying Kaos very much and cannot remember a time when we didn't have him! Rochelle and Harry
7/27/03 - One
of our most laid-back fosters went home today. Kaos wiggled and
kissed his new Mom and Dad as soon as they sat down !! He just loved
them!! They bought him a red collar and matching leash...and did he
ever look even more handsome when he got his new red collar on. Kaos
didn't hesitate to jump into Harry and Rochelle's pick-up. He was
ready to go home.
We are so very happy for Kaos. He loves his Mom and Dad and they
love him. We will miss his sweet Boxer face and all the wonderful
kisses he gave.

7/17/03 - Greeting from Boxer Mountain!!
Some more good things about Kaos!! Kaos get's A+ in the cat department!!!
As a matter of fact.....he did a kidney-bean dance when our 10 year old
male cat rubbed against him!! Kaos actually get's along fine with all
three of our cats. It's as if he's known them all his life. Three of our
grandsons spent the day here recently. And Kaos was just wonderful with
them. Now...for a little on the down-side....Kaos still has diarrhea.
We've tried special diets so far with no success.
We now have him on a special food, which we buy from our Vet, and we use
for one of our other dogs who has a touchy stomach. There's no doubt that
we will get to the bottom of this problem for Kaos. So if you're
interested in giving Kaos his FOREVER HOME.... and want a PERFECT BOXER
BOY.....don't wait!! Submit your application NOW!!!
7/15/03 - Kaos had his Vet visit today. He passed
with flying colors!! Although we did get him some meds to help with his
diarrhea problem..and his stool spec was parasite free. He has some sores
on his feet and Dr Stewart feels they are from licking when he was at the
shelter. Many dogs do this when they are nervous. Kaos has not done any
licking since he's been here with us and it seems the fur is already
starting to grow back. Our vet does feel he is between four and five years
old....but he looks much younger. Kaos usually likes to lay on the dog bed
in our living room. Last night we didn't see him anywhere. We looked in
the bedroom and there he was ...all curled up.....leash and all...in a
PILE on the bed with three of our herd!!!
Sorry to say we still haven't done Kaos's cat testing. But we'll get to
it. The cats have not been co-operating. They're busy doing their job
outdoors catching mice.
Now.....when Kaos knows it's time to eat.....he gets excited.....and
starts to bark......LIKE A SEAL!! Really, he sounds just like a barking
seal!! We know we're repeating ourselves....but Kaos is just so sociable
with other dogs and people!! And he is just so calm and friendly. So if
you want a dog you can take with you anywhere....with people...or other
dogs...you better grab him up quick!! Sorry about not getting his pictures
up on his page yet. But he's gorgeous......trust me!!
7/13/03 - Well Kaos is here on Boxer Mountain.
Kaos is an EXTREMELY HANDSOME Boxer Boy!! He's got a very typical short
Boxer face.... jowley, beautiful reddish color, very muscular and
everything in proportion. He's a regular "Arnold Schwartzenager"!!!
The shelter seems to think he is around five years old......but he doesn't
look much more than two or three to us. Kaos is crate trained but he will
bark quite a bit when he first goes in....and eventually calms down. But
he does sleep all night in his crate without a peep. He is very sociable
with other dogs. We have already introduced him to our crew both outside
and inside. As of today we will start leaving him out of his crate to be
with everyone...dragging his leash for now so we have a little more
control. Kaos has not been cat tested as of yet.
Kaos is a calm boy. He walks well on leash but does not follow verbal
commands. He definitely needs some obedience training.
The poor boy right now has diarrhea......which is very common with the
change in food and water. We're working on getting him better with a
special diet. Kaos is absolutely house broken!! He is very good about
waiting to be taken out.
Kaos rode very well on his trip here. So we think he will enjoy traveling
with his Forever Family.
