Brady is doing
great! He's getting along so well with his new sister Sophia
and my daughter
Samantha. We are enjoying him so much! We are do
thankful to everyone at BAR for helping bring him to
us (especially Gail and DeLanea)!
Thanks again!!!

Brady is off to
his forever family! Abby, his new mom, picked him up about
an hour ago. She said her family had been calling her on her cell
phone to see if she had met him. I think ever member of Brady's
forever family is home anticipating his arrival. He has a wonderful
new family and I'm excited for them all (and a little down...Really
gonna miss you Brady!).

It's really hard to
describe just how special this boy is. He has the most beautiful
big brown eyes and your heart will melt when you he looks at you.
Brady has found his place here and has fallen right in to the routines.
He sits to put on his leash and waits patiently to walk out of the
house. He is doing great walking on a lead. He still barks at
strangers during our walks. If he barks at someone in their yard,
we will turn around and walk by two or three time until he can pass with
his manners. He's learning. He is also learning not to bark at people
out the front door. Both of these have improved tremendously over
the past week.
Brady goes right into his crate when it is time. He slept in his
crate the first week...no problem, but now sleeps on a dog bed in the
bedroom floor with our boxers.
We always supervise his play with other dogs, but he is doing great. He
gets along great with every fur sibling here. He particularly
enjoys a wrestling match with Murphy, our bulldog or sprints and boxing
with the boxers.

Hey Y'all... It's
Brady. My foster parents wanted me to give you a quick update on
my progress. They tell me that I am simply a wonderful boy!
We have been working very hard on walking on a leash properly.
Like most things I picked it up quickly. When they first picked me
up I was rather timid and jumpy. But my foster parents are working
with me to build my confidence.
I am having a blast here with my foster siblings! They have three
dogs for me to play with. We all go on walks together several
times a day and then we get to run around and play with one another.
My foster dad likes to jog with me. He said I am getting much
better at jogging on the leash… plus I am building up some endurance.
My foster parents tell me that I am a real big boy and have a lot of
room to put on some weight. I’m a real good eater of both
breakfast and dinner and all the little treats they like to give me. My
foster mom says that she would love to keep me but knows that I will
make a forever family very, very happy!

Brady arrived at the
Bronson home this weekend. What a gorgeous boy! He has the
most beautiful
boxer head. Brady is also very unique in that his tail is parallel
to the ground. It's like a little blinker...always turning to the
right. He was born with curvature of the spine. However,
this has had no effect on his activity level. His owner’s
surrendered Brady because of the fights he was getting in with their
other dogs but stated that he gets along with other dogs. Brady
has done fine with our two boxers thus far. He is a little timid
around new things. So each day we are focused on finding new
experiences to build his confidence. Brady is a very, very sweet
boy. Loves to be close to the humans of the house and go for
walks. We know that Brady will not be with us long. A
forever family will find him very soon!
