5/6/06 - Penelope has been adopted

4/29/06 - Penelope has started eating and is beginning to play with Champ when they are in the backyard. I am going to schedule a well visit with the vet and make sure she is gaining weight.
I have started to walk her around the neighborhood and she is perfect on the leash. She stays by my side and doesn't bother with other dogs who pass by her. I had one little dog in a car pass by barking ready to jump out
of the car and Penelope didn't even react. She also does not bother with my cats.
She is now crated only at night or if I go out during the day.

4/10/06 - Penelope is a very calm and well behaved dog. She will is affectionate if you go to her but usually is quite content to be in her crate or just laying in the room that you are in. She is starting to learn her name but sometimes you have to call her more than once. She has not had any accidents in the house and does very well in the backyard. She has done very well with our other boxers and also our grandchildren. Penelope will be going to a new foster home upstate next weekend, but I am sure that wherever she is (whether it is a foster home or a permanent home) she will be a loving addition to any family.
