5/9/08 - It has been a few weeks now with Coco and Jeanine and I could not be happier.  Coco is a beautiful girl that is adapting to her environment with ease.  We picked her up from Ronnie who did a great job with her and she jumped into the car without a problem.  For the first week she came to work with me and we didn't spend one second away from each other.  Coco is now learning to stay home as she has some anxiety issues, but with time we are working out those problems.  Coco has a big backyard to play in and has been wonderful.  She is getting lots of attention and seems to be eating it up.  I think she has found her forever home and we hope to make a good life with her.
 

4/19/08 - Rob and Jeanine were right on time and according to Jeanine, Rob couldn't get here fast enough. He was in love with Coco the minute he saw her and in my opinion he's going to have what it takes to help Coco. They already have the trainer coming on Monday so I'm pretty sure he's serious in doing what it takes to get her moving on the right track. Before they left they both took Coco for a walk around the development to tire her out a little before the drive home. The neighborhood kids came and said their good-bye's so they were able to see how she is with kids. Their nieces and nephews are over quite a bit they wanted to make sure that Coco would be good with them and they saw first hand how she loves kids.

3/26/08 - I would like to introduce to you my newest foster baby, Coco.  Coco is an adorable almost 5
year old female Boxer with a beautiful fawn coat.  She is just the sweetest girl. Coco's favorite thing to do snuggle and in her opinion she is the greatest lap dog ever!!
Coco does have some separation issues; she likes to have people around all the time.   She is the greatest
companion, and wants to be where ever you are, whether outside or just hanging around the house.

Coco is the perfect best friend!   Right now she is with me all day long, and does great except when we 
gate her occasionally in the kitchen with my resident boxers.

She gets along great with both my male and my female boxers, and never a problem...even at meal time.

Coco is very enthusiastic when it comes to my cat so I wouldn't recommend that she be in close quarters 
with one without a quick exit for the cat.

A funny story about Coco, the other day I couldn't find her...I was looking everywhere, I asked my husband, 
the kids.....nobody knew...her where she was.. we were calling to her trying to find where she'd gone.   
Care to guess where I found her????....the bathtub!!! That's right the bathtub, she was standing there 
drinking the drips from the faucet. I was cracking up...the kids came in  and we were all standing there 
laughing at her and she had this look on her face like what’s wrong, doesn't everyone drink from the tub?? 
So now every once in a while I'll find doggie foot prints on the bottom of my tub and I know she's been in for 
a drink!  Coco loves my boys (ages 12 & 14) she lays with her head in their laps or with them on their beds.   
Coco is wonderful with children.... a real snuggle-bug.
