4/8/08 - Well Marley (Diesel was not fitting of his personality) has adjusted very quickly to his new home and his new name.  He has become very playful and affectionate after some slight shyness at first.
I consider myself very lucky to have found him!  He is just the sweetest and most well-behaved pup!  He is still a bit under weight but is otherwise happy and healthy.  He loves his new toys and our long walks.
We start obedience classes next week and I am confident that he will be the best pup there!  All my family fell in love with my last boxer so Marley has already reached celebrity status as they
are all anxious to meet him!
We are both very grateful for the efforts of BAR and its volunteers.  THANK
YOU!

4/5/08 - Diesel (who has been renamed Marley)  went to his new home today.  His new Dad Nick is a really great guy.  He was wonderful with Marley.  He bonded with the shy boy before they even left.  He was so patient with him and Marley wasn't nervous.  He was shy at first but warmed up quick.  They went for a long walk and were buddies in no time.
I just want to say I am so happy for Marley!  He is going to a really great home with someone who will love him so much and give him the love and care he needs.  As much as I'll miss him it makes me feel good knowing i helped in him finding his way to a happy life.

4/2/08 - Diesel is pending adoption

4/1/08 - This boy is amazing!!  Diesel is such a sweet guy.   He has settled in and is right at home.
Diesel has a wonderful personality very gentle and calm.  He is very trusting and adjusts to new
surroundings quickly.
Diesel gets along beautifully with my 2 resident boxers and my other foster. He is a joy to have in our
home.   I can't say enough nice things about him.
Diesel is a good boy and does great in his crate.  He may let out a bark here and there but I tell him no
and he quiets right down. Diesel sleeps in his crate quietly through the night.
He is housebroken and will not go in the house at all.  He is very gentle when taking treats.
I think Diesel would do fine in just about any situation.   I think Diesel would enjoy a family with children.
Diesel is great with my kids, even when my 6 year old is bouncing around, he does not mind activity
around him.
We're not sure about cats but I have a feeling he would be ok.  He has a laid back passive personality.
Diesel has a great appetite and is putting on some needed weight.
This boxer boy is just amazing!  Diesel is a sweet, easy guy who is happy to be your shadow.    It is
easy to fall in love with this boy.  He will steal your heart in a minute!

3/26/08 - We picked Diesel up at the shelter on Monday night.    Diesel is a young handsome "reverse
brindle."  His coloring and coat is absolutely gorgeous.   Diesel arrived a bit scared but has settled in nicely.
Diesel rode very well in the car, even enjoyed some treats on the way home.

Diesel has a great temperament.  He is very calm dog.  Diesel has bonded quickly with me and follows
me every where.   This sweet boy is my constant shadow.
Diesel gets along great with other dogs. He already met my two resident boxers.  He met my female
Boxer first (she is the calmest)  He likes her a lot.  Diesel really enjoys her company and seems more at
ease with her around.  He met my male Boxer today and they both did fine.  Lots of sniffing each other it
was quite calm.  I have to say this has been the easiest introduction ever.
Diesel is a fabulous Boxer.   Diesel is housebroken and crate trained.  He sleeps great in his crate and goes
when told to do so.  He sits on command. Diesel walks well on the leash.  He is anxious to get out the door
and a pleasure to walk once we get going.  Diesel takes a little while to eat his food but I think he's just
getting used to our routine.
I have to say this boy is gorgeous!!  I have never seen such a beautiful coat.  It looks black in color.
He is too precious!  I'm looking forward to watching Diesel continue to blossom while here in our foster
home.
I will be happy to update again soon..... as I get to know more about this wonderful boxer-boy.
