4/12/08 - Jazz left with her new family today. While it is always sad to see them go we now that she is
going to be well cared for and loved in her new home. Which makes us very happy.
Be good Baby Girl!!

4/1/08 - Jazz is pending adoption

3/28/08 - Jazz is her happy healthy self. We went to the vet yesterday. She was sooo good while we
were there. She sat every time I asked her to and she greeted everyone very nicely. Everyone of course
just loved her and could not believe that anyone could part w/ her.
We have been slowly increasing her food to get a little more weight on her and she is eating like a champ.
We did do an initial cat test and she seemed to pass. She was nose to nose with the cat and when he
at her she backed up. We want to try once more since it takes her awhile to warm up to a new environment.
All in all Jazz is doing wonderful and is such a delight to have in our foster home..

3/22/08 - Jazz is adjusting to life here with us nicely.  She has lots of puppy energy and loves to play.  Jazz likes to be w/ her humans,   she definitely does not like being left alone.  She will paw at doors and try to move blinds to look out the window to see where you've gone.
Jazz got to play with an Akita puppy last night.   At first she was a little scared of the noises he was making.   But then they played great together.    We're still not sure how Jazz is around cats.
Jazz is still learning her limitations  and we're working to curb her interest in the kitchen counters.   She responds quickly to correction and is eager to please.
Jazz is a typical happy boxer girly, curious, energetic and fun.   She makes us laugh and is sure to entertain you w/ her playful antics.    She loves to play and enjoys spending time w/ her humans.
Jazz would do well in an active home where she can benefit from daily walks and exercise.

3/16/08 - Jazz is doing great here with us. She is a happy energetic boxer. We have been working on sit with her and she is doing very good. She is also responding to her name more as well. We haven't had much time to work on walking on leash but we will get to it. She has been eating great and loves her peanut butter. She cleans out her kong and if our dogs leave anything she cleans out whatever they left behind too.
Jazz has been spending time with our two in the evening and they all play great together. Of course, she never seems to want to stop playing. In the morning we have been keeping them separated and Jazz is not a fan of being left alone. She has jumped the baby gate just to get to us and our two boxers.
We took Jazz to our vet office to get her weighed and she is up to 40lbs. She was very good while we were there and greeted everyone nicely. She does jump up but responds well to correction which we will continue to work on. Everyone that meets her just loves her. She is a little hesitate when first meeting new people but then she is fine.
Jazz is a playful young boxer that is just a pleasure to have around. We are enjoying every day we get to spend with her.

3/10/08 - Jazz is doing wonderful!! She is so cute and fun. She plays great by herself and when she is done she will come and curl up next to you. Seeing she is young we decided to see how she would play with our two today and she played non stop. We finally had to stop her as she could just keep going. She has shown no negative behaviors. I have sat next to her while she ate and put my hand in her food and she doesn't care.
Today I even left her in a room baby gated by herself and she didn't chew on anything she shouldn't. When I took our two out to play I could see her looking out the window but no barking. I put in the crate for awhile and she does not like that at first but she eventually settles down. No barking just a lot of whining.
Jazz is a great young boxer that will make you laugh with her playfulness. She is also very sweet when she comes and lays down next to you. This is one great boxer that we just love.

3/9/08 - Yesterday Baby Jazz arrived here with us. She had a long day coming from NYC but she did great. We had a bit of a storm last night so we weren't able to get in a walk when she got here just a little walk around the yard. She is a bit underweight so we didn't want to keep her outside too long. She loves being petted and loves playing with toys. She had us laughing this morning throwing her toys in the air and then pouncing on them. Like a young puppy. She pulled almost every toy out of the basket and played with it.
She does need some work walking on leash. But she seems to know some basic commands and we will continue to work on them with her. She hasn't had any accidents. She did sleep in the crate overnight, she put up a fuss at first but she settled down. This morning after we got up she did lay with me on the couch and was content there. She has been eating good for us as well and really enjoys the peanut butter filled kong.
We did introduce her to our two boxers this morning. She was a little hesitate but then wanted to play. We just let them sniff though.
Jazz is a beautiful young boxer that will make a great addition to any family.
