10/6/04 - Sorry that I am almost a month late with Kaiser's 6 month update. What a delight this little guy is. He is just like a kangaroo and jumps and bounces all around. The level of activity in our household has gone from quiet to very active and it has been really good for the other 2 Boxers here who were becoming couch potatoes. Bill and I just sit and laugh watching the 3 of them play and play and play..... Here is a picture of Kaiser with his big brother, Buddy. Aren't they a beautiful pair?
5/15/04 - Kaiser is growing my leaps and bounds. He is a typical active Boxer puppy and we are so lucky to have 2 other Boxers to play with him and teach him the ropes. The top picture on the right are all 3 of them helping Dad fix the gate on the fence. Kaiser started obedience training a few weeks ago and is doing really well. He listens very well and has great eye contact with us and is focused. His brother, Buddy, the big light Boxer in the picture, is a little proving to be a little harder to train. He is distracted by every dog and every person and is a real challenge. We just love to sit and watch the 3 of them play. We are so glad we adopted this little guy.
4/20/04 - We just love this little guy! He is the sweetest, best little puppy we could have ever gotten. He is growing by leaps and bounds and getting along famously with our other 2 dogs. We took him to Boston for Easter and he was soooo good, not one accident in the house the whole weekend and he was a hit with everyone. We started obedience training last night with both he and Buddy. He is going to be very easy to train as he wants to please us.
3/17/04 - Kaiser has been with us for 1 1/2 weeks now and he is an absolute doll! In just that short amount of time he is doing very well with his housetraining and he is making real strides at getting along with the other 2 resident Boxers.
3/6/04 - Dreyfus who has been renamed Kaiser has been adopted by the Covey's.
1/25/04 - Dreyfus is pending adoption.
1/9/04 - Hi all....Dreyfus here. I
am a shelter surrender. My mom was given up to the shelter as her dad
didn't want to deal with the pups...mom had me and 2 weeks later her dad
came back to get her and left me :o(
I have been bottle fed and am growing like a weed. Starting to eat some
moist puppy food and dry food that has been softened.
I will be brought up to date on puppy shots and spayed prior to my
leaving.
I have a family all ready and waiting for me and they are so very excited
as they have been waiting a very long time for a puppy boy just like me!!
I love to play and am your typical pouncy boy....mom says I will be a very
active and playful pup so my new family will need to stock up on toys for
me.
I am so very lucky and can't wait until I am big enough to go home.
