2/13/05 - Dakota went to her forever home today. Already she is greatly missed. She will definitely make a wonderful addition to their family. She seemed to like her new family, and they absolutely adored her. She was very attentive to the whole family, and by the looks she is very happy. I will miss this girl very much, but know she went to a good home. Take care, you deserve the best Dakota.
Enjoy your life with your new family.

2/10/05 - Sorry for the late updates, for some reason my computer will not allow them to go through. I hope this goes through. Dakota has been absolutely wonderful. She is doing very well here. I took her to the vet, where she was tested and diagnosed with Lyme disease. The vet stated she was in the early stage and she has been placed on Doxycylcine for 3 weeks. The vet stated she will need to be retested after the medication is done. She has remained uncrated and is housebroken. There have been no accidents in the house. She does not get on the furniture and she does not touch kids toys or stuffed animals. I absolutely adore this boxer girl. She is a little gray in the face, but she is still beautiful. She loves to cuddle and have lots of attention. She is really the best.

2/10/05 - Dakota is pending adoption.

1/25/05 - Dakota is the most wonderful girl. She has not needed to be crated once since being here. She is completely housetrained and is so extremely loveable. Everyone here is so attached. She is so very well behaved. I can not say enough. Pictures are coming soon. Also, she may look a little grey, but she has A LOT of boxer spirit. She is one awesome girl, and I know she won't be in rescue long. She did need boundaries set, and she learned them well. She will be going to the vet soon. We are so glad to have Dakota here, but we will be happy for her to have her forever home.
