4/23/05 - Jack is doing extremely well. Next is his last class in obedience school. I really think Jack has been there before. At first when we get to the class Jack would rather socialize, but after a while he gets into what he's suppose to do. I have never seen any animal urinate as much as he does. Jack used to eat way too fast to the point he would actually walk around after a while trying to digest the food. We switch to a larger dish and only give him his food half at a time. This has worked well for him. We all really love Jack. It's great coming home to him. We even stopped crating him when we leave him. He is really well behaved.

2/20/05 - Jack is doing great. He never stopped until after 11:00 last night. He wanted to play or just follow us around the house. My son had to take a shower about 10:30 last night because Jack was trying to playfully bite his head & neck and slobbered all over his head. It was hysterical. I think Jack is as happy as we are. He had a couple accidents in the house, even though he had just previously went out. Either his nerves or marking his territory.
Thanks again, Cindy

2/20/05 - Jack left yesterday. I think it was love immediately. It took to his new family as soon as they walked in the door and they took to him. This match up is great. The infection he was being treated for after the vet visit is doing very well. The area looks great. He took a toy with him and happily went out the door to go to his new home.

2/19/05 - Jack has been adopted.

2/10/05 - Jack is pending adoption.

2/6/05 - I have been letting Jack run free in the house more and more. He has a ton of energy. He has been having a ball outside. When he wants attention he is not happy with just being pet but tries to climb the rest of the way into your lap. We are working on that. If you give him a treat in the crate he tries to burry it under the dog bed. I think he could play with toys forever. He is currently chewing on a dog bone. He growls when he plays with Tony but it is a play growl. There is no animosity there. Just his way. He would be a lap dog if he could. You have to be stern with him because he is stubborn and will still try to climb up. His feet are always moving. I would say he is a very typical boxer boy. He has the softest fur I have felt so far. He just wants lovin.

2/1/05 - Jack is doing well. He had a ball outside with Tony yesterday, they ran around in the snow. Jack went for a walk today on the leash and could use some work. He may need a halter type collar along with training of course. He's always got a toy in his mouth or near him. He actually picked two up at the same time so Tony couldn't have one. He wins at tug o war. He is very strong. He is a love bug too.

1/30/05 -What can I say, Jack is like having a puppy in the house. He is full of energy and has to have a toy in his mouth whenever he is running around. He runs back and forth trying to decide if you can play with him or not. He just had a bath and was great in the tub and the towel off. Afterward he though the towel was a pull toy. Very hard to believe he is two with his energy. He can be stubborn with staying down. He needs some work with obeying but I think he just needs a boxer savvy home. I would suggest training. He does know commands but sometimes is reluctant to obey them. He is good at sit. He is off the leash now and no problems outside. He does his business and back to the door he rushes. Another baby wanting to spend his time with us two legged. His picture doesn't do him justice. He is gorgeous. Still no problems with Tony so other dogs don't seem to bother him. Tony tries to get him to play but no success yet. I will be surprised if he is still here in two weeks. Not having any problem with food aggression but he is thin and will eat any time fed (unless there is a toy around). He is good in the crate. He has had two accidents in the house but it seemed more like he was marking the kitchen as his. He hasn't done that in the last two days. He may be to rambunctious for small children. Trying to teach him to stay down, he does like to paw and jump at times. He seems to be teasing Tony right now with a ball. This should get funny.

1/28/05 - Well Jack is a real beauty. Does very well in the crate. Loves to eat. He is pretty spunky and needs training. He does know some commands, he will sit. With toys he wants them all to himself and does like tug o war. My household has been sick so I can't say a lot. He seems to love people more than playing with other dogs. I haven't had any problems with him and Tony at all. I find he likes to climb on people and doesn't like that he can't. He's is extremely soft. We will be trying out the bath this weekend.
