4/15/07 - We have had Bella for two weeks now.  She is absolutely wonderful, and so energetic and playful.  She loves taking walks out in the fields near our home, some of those walks tucker her right out and she comes home to snooze.  We took her to the vet on Friday, she was so excited to see all the other dogs there.  All she wanted to do was play! Bella is such a joy to have here in our home and we enjoy every minute with her.  We are working on commands and have her signed up for a Beginners Obedience Class beginning in May.  I am sure she'll do great there as she is such a smart little girl. 

4/3/07 - Bella is doing wonderfully. We had a 2-1/2 hr. drive from Long Island to our home. She had a little snooze on part of the trip. She checked out her new home and very quickly started settling in. She's a beautiful little girl and very smart too! We are working on her potty training and I am sure that she'll get it down in no time at all. We are delighted to have this sweet little girl! A new member of our family...

3/26/07 - Hi everyone!  My name is Bella, which is so perfect for me since everyone tells me how beautiful I am!  They also say that I am just what all Boxer pups should be like.  I love to wag and wiggle when I see my foster family and when I meet new people. Everyone laughs so hard when I get excited, because I kidney bean all the way across the floor to greet them.  They have a very busy house here...I get to meet lots of kids all the time, and I just love them all.  I love to go out for short lead walks, but I especially love to play in the backyard with my foster sister, and some of her big girl friends!  After playing I like to take a nap.  Boy you could almost hear me snoring from here if you listen carefully!  As much as I just love to play, I also love to snuggle with the family.  My foster mommy tells me I am a very good girl, because I know to sit and wait for my food, treats, and to put on my leash.  I try hard to remember that I have to make pee pee outside, and I think I am getting better at that now.  It really did not take me long to settle right into this family...but since they are only fostering me, I am waiting for my forever family to come and get me.

3/22/07 - Bella has been with our family for almost 2 weeks now and it truly will be hard to let her go.  We would love to adopt her, but since we have a 20 month old female boxer, we do not want to risk the chance that they may begin to squabble as they get older (since they are so close in age and have similar personalities).
  
 Bella is a bundle of sweet puppy joy!  She knows her name and responds very well to it.  She has mastered "sit" just perfectly, and is doing wonderfully with "come". We have begun lead training and she is doing just fine with that also.  She is not house broken yet as she is only 14 weeks old, but we are working on it.
 Bella loves to play with her toys, and her foster sister Nikkie.  She does need someone to supervise her while playing with another dog as she tends to get wound up and over stimulated.  She will not back down from a bigger dog, and tends to be dominate with smaller ones closer to her size.  You would not believe how vocal this sweet little face can be while playing!
 Because of her very young age Bella will need to be in a home where someone is home during the day with her.  She will also need someone who is ready to take charge...or else SHE certainly will.
 So if you are at home during the day, and long for that sweet puppy smell and soft puppy kisses, get your app in fast, this girl is going to be hard to resist!
