3/07 - Jake has been adopted

3/2/07 - Jake senior is pending adoption.

2/16/07 - Jake is doing fine and fitting in great. Last night he and our dog Guernsey fell asleep curled up together in  front of the wood stove, it was really sweet.  Health wise, Jake has had a runny nose so we took him to our vet yesterday.  The vet prescribed  antibiotics for his cold, now it seems to be clearing up.  Otherwise he seems healthy as a horse, he has no problems finishing his meals and his excessive water drinking has stopped.  
Weather permitting, we take Jake  for a couple of walks a day, and this morning he and Guernsey started playing on the way back, for an old guy he sure does have a lot of energy.
