1/08 - Bria has been adopted

12/31/07 - Bria is pending adoption with her FTA family.

12/16/07 - Bria is adjusting well as expected. She is still pretty calm for such a young girl but I expect to see more of her personality emerge as the days go by. She plays well with dogs and children alike. She responds well to correction. She doesn't really know any commands but we are working on that and she is very attentive. We are working on housebreaking as she does have a few accidents. She is perfect overnight with free roam of the house and is also great in the crate if we are out for a long period of time. She does look for food on counters but has gotten better with that after a few corrections. She is great around the dinner table, no problem there. So she has a few things to work on but nothing that any normal puppy wouldn't be working on. It seems she just needs some guidance. She had her first bath here and that went great. She even jumped in the tub a few times afterward. She really is just so sweet!

12/9/07 -Bria has been with us for just a day but she has proven excellent with other dogs. Both with my dog and passersby. She walks well on leash. She is very timid at this point but seems comfortable around everyone in my home except for my husband. She is a bit afraid of him and keeps her distance. I am sure she will warm up to him soon. She is fine with the kids, ages 3 and 10. She is very sweet! She slept last night in a dog bed in my room, next to my female. I think she is a great dog and will make an excellent addition to anyone's family.

12/2/07 - Oh boy, where do I start...this girl was in a kill shelter in SC, she spent the last 2 days on a very, very long transport to NY, with a sleep over in lower NJ.  From what I hear she and a terrier on the transport, of about 10 dogs, were the favorites and almost didn't make it to me a few times LOL.
This girl has thee sweetest face and disposition anyone could ever ask for...she came into my home and has met 7 other dogs with not one issue at all!!! has met my cats and guess what, that's right..she is fine with them to..oh and birds...did you say "what about birds??" silly question, of course she is ok with the birds.
She has been next to me most of the day..very nervous at first with her tail tucked...scared baby after what she has been through...but she is relaxing, I got a few kisses and a lot of tail wags :O)) I think our Miss Bria will fit in well just about anywhere.
When I first opened the door to the truck she was in all I could say was "OH>>>MY>>>>GOD!!!" she is supposedly 2 yrs old but is so petit she looks like a 10 month old puppy...unfortunately the poor thing also looks to have had a couple litters of pups already.  Well that is all behind her now..nothing but love and joy for this girl from now on.
We will take a couple of days to remark on house training as we expect all dogs to have accidents the first week or so until settled..which she has had.
She ate dinner tonight with my whole crew...no problems again....hmmmmm, let me thing really hard here...what can I say bad about this dog....hmmmm...ok...no, she isn't ugly.....no, she isn't mean.....nope, likes dogs and cats....gosh darn, can't think of a thing...someone is going to be very, very lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
