2/1/09 - Wanted to let you know Jupiter left this afternoon to go home with his forever family! L  We are sad to see him leave, but at the same time we are very excited for him.  We know that he is going to live with wonderful people who are going to love him tremendously!  He will also have lots of fun playing with their other dogs too.

Jupiter it was a pleasure having the opportunity to foster you, you are a wonderful boy!  After speaking with Patti we know we were fortunate to have had the opportunity, as she was ready to go to the shelter to get you when she saw you online in December in the shelter.  It’s a small world and we truly believe that this is meant to be.  Good Luck big guy!

1/29/09 - Jupiter is pending adoption

1/23/09 - Jupiter has been with us for a month now and he is doing great!  He was neutered on the 15^th and is recovering nicely without incident (no collar necessary for this guy).  We still need to get him to his perfect weight, he is still a little thin but we are getting there.  Jupiter is a pretty low key boxer who does enjoy playing but also enjoys a nice long nap on his pillow by the fire!  If you are looking for a mush just looking to please, for love & attention in return, Jupiter is the boy for you!

1/13/08 - We would describe Jupiter as a gentle giant!  He is a lovable boxer just looking for love and attention.  He is housebroken, good in the crate (will occasionally resist going in but does go when given a firm command), he knows basic commands sit, stay, etc., walks well on the leash and picks up new routines quickly.  He will go to our back door and ring the bell to let us know he needs to go out if sitting or standing in front of us doesn’t give us the idea!  Jupiter and our boxer Harry get along really well, they play together and they sleep side by side in their beds in the bedroom.  Jupiter is putting on much needed weight but still needs to gain more.  Jupiter will occasionally try to sneak (as much as this guy can) up on the sofa but does listen when told off.  Jupiter is eating well and does not have any aggression when eating and someone goes near his bowl or pets him.  In our observation, we think he will fit into any home where he will be loved!

12/18/08 - This special boy is Jupiter! Jupiter is a handsome five to six year old Boxer who was found dumped on the streets and in emaciated condition. It's so sad to see a dog like Jupiter so skinny. Jupiter is a quiet and calm kind of guy who enjoys a nice brisk walk. Then we bet Jupiter would love some time curled by the fire for a nice nap! Jupiter is good with other dogs but does not care for kitties. We recommend children over toddler age due to Jupiter's age. This good boy deserves a second chance with a family to love - Please hurry in to meet Jupiter today!
