1/14/09 - I just wanted to send it the picture's John sent me of Mel.  She was adopted on 1/11/09, and this one pic is just ADORABLE!!!!!!  Made me so happy to see her loving on them!!!   Maybe you guys can put these up on her page.  Its with her new Parents ;)

12/22/08 -Gary brought Mini Mel (as we call her) to us from the shelter this Sunday 12/21.  And I have nothing but GREAT things to report for this little one.  She is a GEM.  And if applications for this little one arent put in quick enough I may have to keep her myself!!! :)

This pup is Tiny.  She is an absolute doll!!  Seems she is completely house broken.  She great with my dogs, and my dogs are a handful!!  We have a cat, and mini mel is VERY Interested in chasing him down when she see's him.  However, she responds excellent to correction.  Just a simple sound aversion, or call her name and she leaves the cat alone.  So, she can probably share a house with a cat, but will need supervision.  We're working on sitting and giving the paw.  Whether she already knew it, Im not sure, but this lil lady is SMART!!  Catches on right away, and takes direction very well. She is great in her crate.  So good in the crate, she just settles in and will watch whats going on, or take a nap.   She loves to sit next to you and cuddle, and honestly, this lil one when you see her in person will more than likely melt your heart as she did ours.  I cant say enough good things about her.  And as I learn more about her, i will let all know.  All I can say for sure is get thos apps in fast, cause this little lady is a diamond in the ruff!!!!  :)
