11/20/10 - It has been a few months since Bugsy first entered our home.  He has adjusted so beautifully into his new environment.  He is the sweetest dog ever!  He is definitely a people dog.  He loves being around anyone and everyone.  He made a new friend, a 2 year old yellow lab.  They love to run around outside together like silly puppies until they are completely out of breath.  Bugsy has been doing very well with his manners and does not pull nearly as much on the leash.  He has been a wonderful addition to our family and we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant, fun, loving boy.

8/4/10 - Bugsy here!  Sorry it has taken me soo long to update my page!  I have been very busy having fun and bonding with my FTA family.  I have to say, my all time favorite thing in the world is a belly rub!  They make me a very happy boy!  Also, I still very much love my car rides.  When my FTA mom takes me on walks I still like to try and chase the critters that cross our path but she does not let me do so.  My mom says even though I have wonderful manners with my family I need to work on them when meeting new people - I just get sooo excited when new peole come to visit!!  I no longer bark when my family is somewhere in the house and I can't see them.  Also mom lets me sleep out of my crate!  I sleep soo well!  Mom says she thinks I sleep better than her now! :)  Time to go, play time!

7/15/10 - Bugsy has been with us for just about 5 days now.  His hr and 15 min ride to my house was great - he loves car rides.  He is adjusting very well into his new home.  He has had 2 in home urine accidents, but otherwise is very well trained.  Bugsy loves to be around people and greets everyone with lots of kisses and boxer wiggles..he has a tendency to bark if he knows people are home and he can not be around them.  All Bugsy wants to do is show his love and lots of it!!!!  And possibly get his all time favorite belly rubs in return!  Bugsy is a huge fan of people food!  He is a very polite begger, sitting by you quietly looking at you  waiting for that small piece of food you might share.  He knows all the basic commands - sit/down/paw and is crate trained, although he'd much rather sleep and stay where ever you are.  We have two resident parrots here - at first he was very curious about these two new creatures but now he is not really interested in them.  Bugsy likes looking out the window, watching cars drive by and loves meeting new people.  Bugsy also loves his walks - tugs a little but it is easy correctable.  When he encounters furry friends along walks he feels compelled to go chase after them.  Time Bugsy and I to go relax in the AC!
