Daisy & Dora 7-17-05

10/19/05 -
Wow! I can not believe we
have had Nikkie for one month already. She fits in so well to our
family. Nikkie spends her days playing with her 12 yr old big
brother Cody, who she just adores! She has learned all of her
basic commands, and we have not even started prof. obedience
training yet! She is extremely bright, affectionate, and full of
energy. She reminds all of us of our beautiful Mattie who we lost in
Aug. in so many ways. I truly think my angel at the bridge
whispers in Nikkie's ear from time to time, because it really is
amazing to see how much she has the very same personality as her.
I am so grateful to BAR for allowing me to be part of your family,
and for allowing Nikkie to come in to our lives. She made our
broken-hearted family happy & whole again!
9/20/05 - Well our last little angel
pie Dora left for her new home today, it was much harder to see her
go than Zoey as she had been with us longer . It really hit us
coming into the house and staring at her empty pen ,
though reassuring to know that she is being loved by Stephanie and
family as we speak.
Those two girls have been nothing but a delight to care for and
although we miss them and their thundering little feet, the snuggles
in bed, searching for the other shoe, we wish them a very happy
health life in their new homes, a sentiment which Tippy most
certainly does not share, she says that she is far too old to be
fussed over with puppies thank you!
Thanks to everyone who asked how they were doing, we really felt
that you all were behind us!

9/4/05 - Dora is
pending adoption and will be going home on Monday, 9/19/05
9/4/05 - Dora and her sister Daisy
came to BAR when they were only a few days old from a breeder. One
of our foster homes bottle fed these two little cuties until they could
eat on their own. Daisy was adopted yesterday and Dora will be
going home to her new family very soon.

Hi everyone,
Yesterday my sister went to her new home, it was ok by me as her
people played with me, hugged me and by the time she left I was
sleeping on the sofa with my 12 year old human pal Stephanie who
slept over the night before as it was Zoey's last night. She slept
in a sleeping bag right beside our pen to be near us and we tried to
pull her hair through the pen when we woke in the night, that was
fun!
Last night after going with Tippy to Stephanie's house for a
BBQ where the air smelled like meat and I snoozed under the stars
wrapped in a blankie I slept all by myself in our pen, snuggled with
my toys, even though my sis took Mr Snakey with her, I was a big
girl, but it had been a very busy day so I was dog tired .he he.
When I woke this morning I yelled for a big people to come get me
and after going out wee wees with Uncle Ivor we all went back to bed
in a big people bed cos that's what you do on Sundays.
Don't worry about me peoples, I wish my sis well with her new
family but I have lots to do here, life is good!
