10/7/06 - Bruno is during great, here are some pictures of him at home.

9/19/06 - Bruno as been with us a few days now and we love him more each day. He is such a good boy, no accidents yet, and he as the run of the house, from day one. This past weekend we did a six mile hike in CT, he just loved it. I think he could have going 20 miles, but not me. He loves to lay his head on our lap when we are sitting around. We love this guy and he is here to stay, Thanks to everyone who may it happen.

9/14/06 - Bruno has been adopted
Bruno has left with his forever family. He is a good boy and will make his new parents proud. Champ is still looking for his buddy in crime, but is now busy checking out our new foster Georgette.  Bruno will be sorely missed but we know that he will be well taken care of and loved.

9/5/06 - Bruno is pending adoption

8/13/06 - Bruno continues to think rocks are the best playthings!  He constantly wants to bring his boulders into the house.  He is still full of energy and very loving.  Originally we though he didn't have a problem with cats, but he has chased ours a couple of times now.  He would stand there and bark at them and they were certainly not happy.  He loves playing with the water from the hose as well.  He does fairly well with crating but moans when Rusty and Champ are out and he isn't.

7/24/06 - Bruno has been doing really well, and he certainly has lots of energy.  He loves spending time
outside either walking with me or playing in the backyard with Champ. If his tennis balls are outside, he'll play with them (bat them around and bark at them), but if he can't find his ball he will play with the rocks from my rock garden.  I have seen him pick up rocks and carry them around like they were nothing, while I needed help setting them up because they were so heavy.
He doesn't like being in his crate except when it is time to go to bed, (he really is a moaner, but will quiet down when he tell him “quiet”). Bruno is good in the house and really doesn't get into much trouble.
As for eating, he loves to eat and doesn't have a problem with me or anyone else around his food or petting him while he eats.
Since my granddaughter has gone home, we have taken the pool down. Bruno did not like that at all.
Now when I water the vegetables and flowers he is right there jumping into the water as it comes out of the hose.  If I set up the sprinkler he chases the water as it goes from side to side and tries to catch the water on his tongue.  It is really funny to watch.
Well it is time for our walk so I will write soon, I promise.

7/3/06 - Bruno is really doing well.
He has finished his dosages of medication and is now eating and running like a boxer should.  The
meds had him slowed down and always tired.  I now have him walking an hour 2xs a day and let me
tell you he loves his walks especially when he thinks he is walking me.  We have to work on his
walking by my side but once we get that accomplished he should be good to go.
He loves to be outside in the backyard playing with his toys.  When he can't find his tennis balls
he is very content to use a rock.  He is the only dog I know that will bark at his toys expecting
them to answer him back.
He loves going for a swim whenever he can get into my granddaughters pool.  It is so funny to watch
him.  First he puts in one paw as if testing the water, pulls it out and then jumps in with all
four paws and starts swimming.  It takes forever to get him out of the pool.  I'm starting to wonder
if he was a fish in a past life.
Well time to take Bruno and Champ for their walks.
Will write soon and post pictures as soon as Dianne gets home from Texas.

6/29/06 - When Bruno made his first appearance in our home he was a pretty sick pup. He had just been
neutered and had a hematoma of his scrotum.  It was pretty red and swollen and he couldn't sit down and
could only lay down for short periods of time.  On top of all that he also had kennel cough. Now with the help of time and medicine he is doing very well.
He loves to go for walks and play with Champ.  He does pretty well on commands except when he is
into playing with his squeaky in the back yard.  Then to get him in I have to get his attention and
then he does exactly what you want. He just love his squeaky (has demolished 3 already).
OOPS - Bruno & Champ have just found my granddaughters pool and have gone in for a swim.  Will let
you know how they like it in my next update.
