7/9/07 - This past Saturday, our family welcomed Boxer #3- Buddy Love, to our home!  We have decided to call him Bennett- Ben for short.  We are all thrilled to have him and feel privileged to be able to give him  a wonderful new life.  He is already adding so much to our lives-what a sweet boy.  So far, thing have been OK with our other 2 Boxers (Rosco & Angie).  Ben still has some manners to learn (he loves to chew and bite) and he is working on his potty skills.  All in all, he is a great little guy and so charming.  I had helped transport him to his foster Mom, Deb, about a month ago and couldn't stop thinking about him!  We would like to thank Deb and her family for all their love, care and patience they have shown Ben during his time with her family.  We'll add some pictures soon and there will be lots to report as time goes on.  Thanks again Deb and BAR for sending Ben our way!

7/7/07 - Buddy Love has left to start a wonderful long life with his new family.  They were all so happy to see Buddy and finally get to bring him home.  I'm sure they will all be very happy together.  I could not image a better family for Buddy, who is now going to go by the name Ben.  Ben will now have a fur sister and brother along with 3 kids to grow up with.  Good luck Buddy/Ben we will miss you.

6/17/07 - Meet Buddy Love,  a cute brindle baby boy.  We call him Buddy Love because the minute anyone meets Buddy they are in love.  I have had Buddy here with me for a week.  The whole time he has been here he has been fighting a cold as known as kennel cough.  He is slowly starting to feel better, but it is still too soon from me to determine his true personality.   He sleeps a lot right now.  The vet said he should feel better in about five days.  Buddy loves to be with people and other dogs.  He does not like to be alone.  He is a true velcro dog.  He goes in his crate when we are not home but he will cry.  Being he is only a puppy, he is not house broken.  We are working on it.  He always goes to the bathroom when we take him out.  But he still does not tell us if he needs to go out.  He will also mess in his crate.   When Buddy does play, he like to chew and chase balls.  Buddy will be a prefect addition to someone who has a lot of time to spend with him.  Having a puppy again reminds me of having a infant.  If you are ready for that kind of commitment get your applications in.

6/10/07 - Boxer puppy, Buddy is doing good.  I picked him up from Carrie a little after 6:00 and we were home by 6:45.  He had a dry crate this morning.  He loves being around people.  I am feeding him very little at a time.  He ate for Carrie and then throw it up, so I'm going slow.  He did however wake up this morning with kennel cough.  It started about 2am.  So he will have to be kept separated from the other dogs until he is over his cold.

6/9/07 - The newest BAR pup should be happily resting w/ his foster family after spending the day with my family. He had a busy day of course consisting of his transport and then so everyone could make it to games we decided to meet this evening. This new pup is not going to be around long I am sure he loved everyone he meet and all the dogs he meet, including two boxers at the rest area, my 2 boxers, a young golden retriever, a little fluffy dog and even my mothers crazy 11 year old Heinz 57. Every time the kids ran he ran too. He loved watching the girls flip flops go up and down. He loved the ball game he went to and you could tell he wanted to get right out there and play. I took a ton of pics and will send them along to be added to his page.

6/9/07 - From a transporter - Deb's new foster is a Male, about 8-9 weeks old and soooo adorable. He spent the night with me...very mellow pup, loved the other dogs and was great in the crate...barked for a bit then settled for the night and kept the crate dry.  I am sure Gail will have no problem finding him a home!
