8/08 - Coda has been adopted

7/17/08 - Coda is being adopted by his foster family!

6/25/08 - Coda is doing terrific!   He is gaining some weight,  he is still real skinny,  you can see his ribs and backbone still,  but is gaining.   He still shakes and has quite an issue laying down,  it takes him quite a while to get down,  but seems fine once he gets there.    He runs and plays frizbee and is a very happy dog,   he just loves being with me and never leaves my side.   
I will get you some pics in a couple of days,  but I honestly want to keep him.    I don't want to stress him anymore,  he is a really good boy and he is really welcome and wanted here,  we love him to death.   I am glad you talked me into him!   lol!!   You know how I love the seniors

6/08 - This gentle old man was very lucky that the shelter manager happened to be driving by after hours. He was found tied to the railing near the entrance to the building. He only has about 9 teeth in his head, one of which he apparently broke off, trying to free himself. This sweet old guy doesn't deserve to be treated this way... :-(
The shelter workers and volunteers love him, but cannot give him the love and attention he deserves. While not great pictures, this is a purebred boxer - we don't see any mix in him
He has been tested with dogs and cats, and did fine with both.
