10/17/09 - James has had a rough start here in Connecticut but his luck is quickly changing!  Poor James got a very bad infection due to his neutering.  Our vet said that it is vary rare but does happen so the poor little boy was at the hospital his first week we had him.  He came home on Monday and has been a different doggie!  He is still a bit under the weather but the sun is shining through.  He now has energy and seems to be pain free which is wonderful.  He gets his stitches out and cone collar off on Monday (thank god... he is running into everything in the house, including me - hehe)  Also, he and our cat Eli have been scoping each other out, I think James is more scared of Eli - go figure!  We are trying to decide what they will both be for Halloween??? :),Overall things are going very well and he is a very sweet boy.  He is great with commands,good on a leash and knows pretty much everything I am saying!  He is fitting in very nicely here in Connecticut. ,,More to come at a later date......  Kalyn and Justin

9/8/09 - James just keeps getting cuter by the day. I think Tyson is giving him lessons I caught him practicing sitting on the couch like Tyson does LOL. James has been a pleasure to have here. He goes in his crate when told he loves to play with my 2 guys and Ollie and him have been doing fine together. He has not had any accidents in the house since the first couple of days he has been left alone for up to 8 hours and has been fine. He does love to play and run around. He also loves to cuddle and loves to give kisses.

8/27/09 - Ok, so this guy is still here!! What a great dog!  He has been introduced to my guys and he is awsome, they get along great. He loves to run in the back yard and play. He also creates no trouble inside and gets my guys going but is all in fun and they usually calm down when told. He likes to know where I am at all times. He has not had any more accidents in the house. He stays in his crate when I leave and barks a little but settles down quickly. He does sleep on the bed with my 2 guys and they get along great.  He is great in the car and loves to met new people.  He is looking for his own family to make them HAPPY!!!!!!!!!

8/20/09 - James has been here 2 days and has been really good. I have not introduced him to my guys yet but they have sniffed each other through the gate and it has been all wiggles. He listens really good, sits, gives paw, rolls over ad loves to play and be loved. He started playing with toys today.  He picks them up and runs around the back yard. He goes in his crate good and I have left him out in the kitchen over night and he sleeps in the open crate. He did have an accident in the kitchen. I told him in a stern voice that he was bad he had just came in and he cowered over to me as to say I'M SORRY and gave me kisses. He walks great on the leash.  He has a mild cough and will be on antibiotics for 7 days. He seems like all he needs is a loving home and he will be HAPPY!!!!!
