12/10/11 - Odie has been adopted!!

12/4/11 - Odie is pending adoption!!

11/28/11 - Odie has been having fun the past couple of days. He never gets tired of playing fetch. He has so much energy I don't know how he's going to be able to gain any weight. We are trying to keep him off the furniture, but he likes to sneak on the couch when no one is looking. Odie has learned to sit and wait in his crate while we prepare his food. Now we don?t have his head in the bowl before we can even pour his food. He stays sitting in his crate until we call him over to eat. Odie is a smart dog. He has even caught on that we want him to be calm and lying down before we will let him out of his crate. As soon as he is out, he is running around and playing.

11/12/11 - Odie had his first bath yesterday. He was very good. He just wanted to drink the water from the sprayer. He hasn't had any more accidents in the house! Also, he is doing great with the sit and come command. He really enjoys playing fetch. He'll bring you the ball and drop it on your lap or the couch so you can throw up in the air for him to catch or bounce it off the wall for him to chase.

11/5/11 - Odie had his wellness exam this week. He just needs to gain some weight. I got an accurate weight for him at the Vet's office and he is at 36 lbs. He is lower than what I thought from trying to weight him at home. This doesn't stop him from running around the house and having plenty of energy to play!  Odie enjoys meeting new people and dogs. He has had no problems welcoming new people in the house. When no one is home, he has been going into his crate. He has had no accidents in his crate. He has had the occasional accident in the house. Taking him out every 2 hours and after playing has been working to stop them.

10/26/11 - Odie is a ball of energy. When he exhausts his foster brother Champ, he keeps himself busy chasing his ball. He is also very curious and needs to check out everything you bring home. He weighted in today at 45lbs. He is all skin and bones. There's no problem getting him to eat so he will easily be putting on some much needed weight.

10/25/11 - I picked up Odie on Saturday. He spent his time in the car resting or chewing on his toy. He was very well behaved in the car. When we got home, we took a long walk with his foster brother. He had no problems with meeting a new dog. When we went into the condo, he started walking around and sniffing stuff. He soon started playing with the toys and making himself at home.
