7/30/07 - Hi everyone. Maci is now almost 2 years old and she is doing wonderful. She is wondering if anyone
has heard from her sisters and her mom Lola. If you could let us know that would be great. Thanks
to all, Kim, Ed, Nick,Justin, sheba, diesel and maci girl

2/22/06 - Hi everyone. Just a note to let you know that maci is doing wonderful.  When we adopted she was 9
weeks old and weighed 9.5 pounds. She is now 48 pounds and about 5 months old.  She listens to basic
commands and all potty trained. I will send pictures as soon as we figure out how to download the pictures. To kim and sheila again, a big thank you! Will write again soon. Kim, Ed, Nick,Justin,Sheba,Diesel and Maci girl.

12/17/05 - Hummer pup(now called Maci) is doing wonderful.  All is well with her and she is all settled in to her new home.  Maci had her follow up vet appt. last week and she is growing like a weed.  Thanks to all that made this possible. She  was 9.5 pounds when we got her and she is now almost 16 pounds. The vet said she is a very healthy girl and we all just love her.  Her Christmas stocking is hung up and she takes every opportunity to pull it down to see if Santa left anything yet. We will update again soon. We wish everybody and every doggie out there a wonderful holiday! Ed,Kim,Nick,Justin and furry family, Sheba, Diesel and Maci

11/25/05 - Hummer has been adopted.
We picked up hummie on Friday around 10:00 am. She is wonderful. Our other 2 dogs love her. She follows them outside to go potty and loves to run around the yard with a leaf in her mouth. She has such a silly personality that just makes you laugh out loud. She will go to the vets office on Wednesday for a check up and a few shots. We will keep
you updated on how she is and I told Kim and Sheila that we would keep in touch along the way. Thank you so much again. She is a wonderful addition to the family.

11/19/05 - Hummer is pending adoption

11/7/05 - The Puppies  had their first trip to the Vet today for vaccinations. The Vet was very sweet with them , gave them lots of hugs and treats, they kissed him  and were very happy with the whole experience.  Hummer is a gorgeous girl with a gentle character to match, she is  very laid back and easy going, she even had a quick snooze at the Vet's and would make a great first puppy for someone.  You just can't pass by her without scooping her up in your arms for a big ol' Hummer hug.  She is learning her toilet training well and is out playing in our fenced yard with her sister and Mom several times a day in the beautiful fall weather, she loves to run through the leaves and bury herself!  She and her sister are sleeping well through the night now like big girls! Watch Hummers page for more news soon!

10/28/05 - Hello everyone, at last we all get our own page, so wheres to begin, I am a big girl and that's why the foster peoples called me Hummer....they said I am built like a little tank, but really I'm just big boned.... and like my food!
Although I am the biggest, the others are catching up fast. I am very gentle and prefer to follow my sisters rather than lead, not that I'm shy you know, just taking my time. We are having lots of fun at our foster home, they really love us, the big dogs too, but I would like a home  where I could have big peoples all of my own. Watch my page for more adventures with Hummer xxx

10/24/05 - Well big peoples, today we all went outside for the first time to take a look , the leaves were falling all around us, the sun was peeking through the trees and the air smelled good, like your best stick that you keep hidden in the woods. We all had a play, some of us were braver than others but we had fun. The best part was when our Mom came out to join us and we sneaked a quick drink at the milk bar, she was very happy to be with us again now that she is better. At night she sleeps right across from our pen in the living room so that she can keep a watchful eye on us not that there's any need, we heard our peoples say that we are Angels! look out for more adventures soon,
  love from  the BAR pups x x x x

10/19/05 - The puppies are continuing to do well despite their bad start in life, we found out that Mom and pups were in a kill shelter, sleeping on concrete, thankfully  a nearby Vet alerted Boxer rescue to their plight and gave them all medical attention, a kind person , to be sure.  After passing several types of worms for days the babies are finally looking and feeling better, eating well and putting on weight, their worm burden was truly horrific! They are full of life
and loving to play,  even though they are not all Boxer, they are very "Boxery" :))  They just love to be picked up and held and will lie in your arms and melt for as long as you wish! Please keep watching for regular updates

Hey peoples!
We are the new BAR pups and we arrived with our Mom tonight in a place with a very warm cozy bed, toys and lots of cuddles. No one really knows our story but after spending some time in a shelter far away in NC the kind lady Tina  brought us here and now it will all be ok. Our Mom looks in bad shape right now because she made so much milk for us and didn't get as much food as she really needed so she is thin but the big peoples said she will be fine, she is very young and strong and with good food she will be all better in no time.  Our Mom is a very good girl, she is very good around the house, nice with the other big dogs here, very gentle and you will be hearing more about her on the website whatever that is. She is very hungry and needs 5 meals a day, just like us......... yummy! Well here are pictures of us.... sleeping hard and don't worry about us peoples,  we are in great shape, happy , playing and apparently we are very cute!           more soon,                    the new BAR pups x x x x

10/15/06 - BAR would also like to send a HUGE thank you to Ed Kelly who drove to VA to pick up mom and pups and meet me back in NJ....Ed is a saint and has helped us more then once with these long distance trip.....thank Ed for being their angel...I am sure Cookie doesn't mind your absence when you are helping fellow boxers.   Tina
