10/23/06 - Kimba is pending adoption 10/17/06 - This dog cracks us up, it feels like she's been with us forever. Ted taught her to roll over & she loves to do it because she gets a treat. She's definitely feeling comfortable with us because she's been testing her boundaries, but after correcting her a few times she gets the message. The gates on the side should be up by next week, so she'll be able to run around more freely, for now while she's out running we're out there with her, she loves the tennis ball & starts hitting it with both her paws to make it bounce away, it's so amusing. I gave her the heartworm pills in the cheese as you suggested, one fell out & she ate it anyway. 10/11/06 -We took Kimba to the vet last night, she was so good. They put the drops in her eyes to check for ulcers or scratches & there was nothing there. She thinks its either an irritation or an allergy, so she gave me some salve to put in her eyes for 1 week & an antibiotic for 10 days which she thinks will help with her itching herself. Other than that she said she looks great & she weighs just about 54 lbs. I couldn't believe how she let them do whatever they had to do & she didn't flinch. This dog is great, don't make any plans on getting her back, we love her.
