9/08-09 - Well today marks the one year anniversary that Lilly joined our family and we could not be happier with her. She has made great strides since she arrived. In her last home she apparently did not live a cat so when she came to us the first 6-7 months my cat was in hiding because Lilly would chase her the moment she showed herself. Now they sleep with in a few feet of each other and Lilly will actually give her the occassional kiss. She loves to out running with our neighbors Boxer (Deacon) who was also adopted from BAR. She never strays from home and just loves everyone. She is becoming quite the watch dog too. She is definitely a mommas girl...follows me everywhere. We love her to pieces...Thank you BAR!!!

11/22/08 - Lilly has been with us for 2 months now and she is doing Great!  She loves my boys and seems to have made a special bond with my 4 year old son. She sleeps in his bed with him every night. She still wants to find my cat, but the cat just keeps her distance so it really has not been a problem. She is wonderful when outside. We have a fenced area for her, but if the kids are out she just wants to run with them. We have had no issues with her running away or digging under our fence as her previous family stated was a problem. She just loves to run in circles around the house and chase my oldest when he is on his bike. She is great with the neighbors kids and dogs. She just loves to play. She is a very affectionate baby, lots of sloppy boxer kisses to give.

11/08 - Lilly has been adopted

10/9/08 - Lilly is pending adoption

9/11/08 - Lilly has met my neighbors female dogs and is eager to play, but when play starts and things get too rough she will snap at them. Other wise she is excited to meet other dogs.
As for cats...Monday morning my cat was in the laundry room and my 4 yr old opened the door, forgetting she was in there. Well, Lilly came flying in and all I heard was my oldest screaming for the cat. I came in approximately 30 seconds into this and found my cat cornered with Lilly pouncing on her ( similar to the way my other dog used to do when she wanted to play) I separated them to check my cat for injuries. Blood drips on floor but the cat appeared OK just so scared that she peed on the floor. Lilly however, had scratches to her chin, so the blood was hers. Not too sure what to make of it. Was she trying to play or playing with her food before she took a bite?
Since then the cat has kept her distance. Lilly will sniff around for her but is distracted if I call her. I have tugged on leash and sternly said "No kitty!" as directed by Gary. Last night Lilly was asleep on her dog bed when the cat decided to come with in 10 feet of the dog to check her out, so I guess the cat is curious and not so scared that she is in constant hiding.
Otherwise, Lilly is a sweetheart. Needs to be where everyone is. Goes into crate easily now.

9/7/07 - Lilly has arrived at her foster home.  She enjoys being petted every where. At times however, she may duck down as if she is expecting to get hit.  She eats out of everyone's hands including my 8 year old and has no reaction when you put your hand near her or in her bowl.  She is great with myself, my husband, 3 boys ages 8/4/1 and met my nephew(15) and neice(14) and loved them all.
She is friendly, playful and submissive with the neighbors female dog and shared a water bowl with no issues at all.  She is still testing the water with my cat. Chasing her then searching for her once the cat finds a place to hide. Although she does give up when distracted.
