FOSTER-TO-ADOPT PROGRAM
These dogs are already in homes and pending adoption with the families they are with and not available for adoption.
This is relatively new program that came about because we had owner surrender dogs for which we have a history, on a waiting list and no foster homes available.  Families who have already completed the adoption process are matched up with owner surrenders that we think would be a good fit for them.  They have 2 weeks to foster the dog and to decide if the dog is a match for their family.  If the dog does not work out for that particular family, they agree in advance to continue to foster the dog until adopted by another family and the dog is then moved to the available list. Keep an eye on this group of Boxers as they may become available.

Friends of BAR

There are times when our  volunteers come across other pure bred dogs who do not have a local rescue organization dedicated to their breed.  For that reason, we have a "Friends of BAR Rescue" page that will showcase other breeds that are available for adoption.  These dogs are being fostered by BAR volunteers who take complete responsibility both care wise and monetarily for them.
BAR posts these dogs on our web site in the hope of finding them a "forever" home.
