Pertinent Information
5/5/04 - Little Alex's mom came to pick him up
tonight. When we went down to introduce him to his new mom, it was the
1st time i can remember Alex being calm and stationary :o)) I warned
his new mom that this is not the Alex I have known. He is usually non
stop, never standing still long enough to get a look at that cute
face. She said she totally understood, as she has the female version
of alex, a petite 6 month old pug girl who couldn't wait for a brother
to help her burn off some of that puppy energy.
I would pay good money to see these 2 together,
frolicking about, non stop, as long as it's in someone else's house
:o))) sound like Alex is going to have a great new life, deserving for
this wonderful little guy. So good luck Alex, don't be insulted that
all my older guys had big smiles on their faces as you were heading
out the door. they just realized that they are going to be able to get
a nap in, undisturbed starting today.
I for one will be watching for updates on this little
guy. Sounds like a match made in heaven.
5/4/03 - Alex is pending adoption.
4/11/04
- Alex continues to do well here in our home and playing with all the
dogs that move in and out. He is a ball of fire and loves to play
non-stop. I have taught him how to sit (mostly when I have a cookie in
hand) and he goes on command outside. There have only been a couple of
accidents in the house lately and only #1. He really is great little boy
and if you have another dog that 3/30/04 - Alex has just arrived at the Guardian Angel Boxer Haven...what a cute little boy this guy is and a BALL of energy!! He does not stop for one minute. I had a 5 month old boxer girl here and they just played forever. She left today so you can see he is resting comfortably in our laundry basket.
This boy will definitely need
obedience training and another doggy and/or some kids to play with to
use up his energy.
He needs work on his housetraining
but is dong much better. I am working with him going on command. I tell
him "go potty" and I would say about 90% of the time now he does go.
We would also like to see him go
to a home in which he won't be home for long hours, being a pup and
crating for long periods doesn't usually do well.
Alex is doing super with all the
dogs in the home, large, small, big and little and he is fine with the
cats as well. He does nip a bit with his puppy play so we are working on
that as well.
If interested in adopting a Pug
from Boxer Angels please fill out an application at

dog and not a boxer.
