Pertinent Information 7/5/03 - Miss Thelma has been adopted by her foster Mom. 6/27/03 - Well, it only took 7 days for Felicia to fall madly in love with her foster girl, Miss Thelma and decide to adopt her!! 6/17/03 - Hi Tina, Just a quite
e-mail to let you know that Thelma is ALL you said she is! She has
been such a GOOD girl! In three nights she’s made it from the crate,
to the sofa, to the bed! She is a loud snorer! But that doesn’t
bother me at all. She’s so nice to have around. She has gotten into
the routine and acts like she’s been here forever. She has been
stealing my lab’s baseballs and chewing on them with absolute joy. I
took her up to my parents’ yesterday and she loved to go for a ride
in the car, really enjoyed exploring their house and even played a bit
with their dogs. She has been great with me. No
aggression whatsoever. She does seem a little blind and a little deaf,
but her nose works great and she sniffs after me and follows me
around. Anyone who wants a bulldog will find a real gem in her and she
can stay here as long as she needs to! 6/15/03 - Unfortunately Miss Thelma has been returned to rescue. She will be fostered in CT with another one of our adopted Bulldogs, Spike. 4/16/03 - Thelma is the greatest dog there could ever be. She is sooo cute and sweet. I just love her to death! She does have quite a case of kennel cough and we are still working on getting that cleared up. Thelma will be to the vets later this week for another follow up appt and hopefully be on her way to her very patient forever home very soon. 4/5/03 - Miss Thelma, well what can I say about this girl. She is just the best..she is set in her ways..if she has a toy, bone or is sleeping she doesn't care for you to bother her so we just let her be and my boxer babies have learned this as well. She gets along great with the dogs in the home and doesn't bother the cats...although she doesn't move to quickly so they would have no problem getting away from her if she did want them. Thelma is feeling just a bit under the weather today. She has a slight cold, ear infection and eye infections. We are giving her meds for all in hopes she will feel better real soon. I just love to watch her sleep...she snores and snores and her tongue hangs out the side of her mouth. Thelma loves for you to pet her and if you look real hard you can see that cute little curly tail of hers wiggling as you pet her. She has another vet appointment Wednesday for a follow up on her cold and should be read to go home by next weekend. I will send another update after her next vet visit...send well wishes her way...grunts to all..Thelma. 3/31/03 - Guardian Angel Boxer Haven has opened it's door for Miss Thelma, an 8 year old English bulldog. She is just the sweetest thing going. Very friendly, great with the other dogs in the home and is housebroken. Thelma has a visit with Doc Fischer tomorrow to have her ears and eyes checked. She has a little clouding in her eyes and her ears are a bit dirty and may be infected..we will take her in and get her all fixed up and ready to roll. Looking for a senior girl to pal around with you, she's your girl. Thelma will follow you from room to room and is quite content to sleep on the floor on a nice soft pillow, snoring is included with no extra charge. She loves her squeaky toys as well....her only problem is which one to grab first. So if your looking for a great bully better get that app in quick as she will find a home fast I am sure of it. |
