5/15/05 - Wow has it really been 3 moths since I updated this girl! I have to tell you she is just the sweetest girl in the world. She is great with the other dogs, kids and cats. She still has hair loss...it is not mange but allergies of somekind. We will be making an appt for her with an allergist to try to find out what is causing this.
Snickers is not totally house trained but is getting better..with some training and consistancy she will do well...a bit hard for me as I work a 50 hour week.
She is a silly girl that loves to play with you or just curl up on the couch or next to you in bed. She gives sweet little kisses once in a while...not a big kisser. She follows me from room to room to see what I am doing. When I get on my hands and knees to look for dog toys under the furniture she comes over and sticks her nose in there to look as well to see what I am doing.
In the morning she comes in the bathroom with me and lays on the floor waiting for me while I take my shower and get ready for work. When I get home she is sitting in the bay window looking for me and at the door waiting when I open it up.
She just loves the attention. Snickers will be ready to go after we do more testing on her to find the reason for her skin condition....be patient and she may soon be yours to love.

2/25/05 - This is Snickers.  Snickers is approx 3 yrs old and was brought to us from a shelter in NYC.  She was a stray who we believe has demodectic mange which we hope to clear up soon.  She is just the sweetest little girl anyone could ever want.  Snickers will be on medical hold for a bit until we get her skin condition cleared up.  She is scheduled to go into the vet on Thursday.
She has had a couple of accidents in the home so far, but that is to be expected with the stress of coming to a new home.  Hopefully in a couple of days we will find out she is housebroken.
Watch for updates on this sweet baby girl.
