Just
got back from my vet. Stella had extensive damage to her spine...she did
very poorly on every test he did with her, and her prognosis was extremely
poor.
He said we
could go to a neurologist, and have an MRI or CAT scan done, but that would
only highlight the extent of the damage, which he said would surely have a
poor prognosis. He felt the best thing for this poor girl was to put her to
rest. So we did that, of course I did for her what the scum bag owner of
this dog did not have the courage to do, and that was to be by her side and
love her as she went to sleep for the last time.

Stella, I hardly knew you, but your passing saddened me as if we were life
long buddies.
