2/18/12 - Reggie is doing very well, we stopped putting him in the crate because he acted so badly in there and totally destroyed the crate and he has been perfect in the house...no peeing or pooping when they are gone. He loves our teenage son, ignores the cat.  We don't have another dog, but he walks with our mother- in-law and her Chessie every day and absolutely no problems.

1/15/12 - Reggie has been with us for a week now. I apologize for being a little slow with the updates...this is all new. We will eventually get the hang of it. We are enjoying having Reggie. He is a great companion who loves attention. We got Reggie a rope with a tennis ball and enjoys playing tug of war. Reggie loves when you get down on the floor and play with him. Hunter (hes 13) gets down and wrestles with Reggie and he knows his limits...he is not aggressive in any way. Hailey (she is 3) pets Reggie and loves giving him treats. She tells him to sit, he does and she gives him a treat. Reggie takes it from her gently. He must be in a room with someone at all times. He is a follower of his human. I take Reggie for a walk daily. I use a gentle leader and he walks great for me. I tried just using his buckle collar and he pulls when he sees or hears something of interest. He is very strong.  However, if you tell him Reggie come..he follows. If you walk with him right next you you he will lead you. I walk with my mother and
Crockett (Chesapeake Bay Retriever). Crockett is extremely laid back.  Reggie jumped on top of him the other day and I pulled him back (they had meet on several other occasion so this was not their first encounter). I then took Reggie and and told him no and introduced him to Crockett again. Told him good boy and they have been fine since.
Reggie goes to the door when he needs to go out and howls. Reggie has full access to the down stairs and half upstairs when we are at work and has not done any damage. When we arrive home he is extremely excited to greet us at the door. He snorts and licks...lots of loving. We have tried to introduce Reggie to our cat on several different
occasions and have not had a positive outcome. Reggie is extremely aggressive towards our cat, Winkers. At first I thought Reggie just wanted to play but it appears that is not the case. Reggie tries to jump up to Winkers safe spot and growls and barks (aggressively). At night when we put Reggie to bed, he sleeps with Hunter, Winkers will scarcely come out with our guidance. Winkers is very nervous. I am not so sure Reggie is a good fit for any home with a cat.

1/8/12 - Reggie arrived last night very excited. He was quickly comfortable with the family. We have a 13 and 3 year old and Reggie appears to be wonderful with the two of them so far. When Reggie needs to go outside he will go to the door and howl, it is the cutest noise. He is a very solid dog. When he sees or hears another animal he tries to go/run towards them. He does not appear to be aggressive so far. However, when introducing him to another animal it must be done slowly on his leash or he will jump (scaring the other animal). He enjoys being with someone when in the house, he follows me where ever I go. We went for a walk today, I use a gentle leader collar, and he was amazing. At first he did not like the collar but within 5 minutes he was walking like a champ. He will sit when told to do so, stay needs some work. He responds to his name. The introduction to our cat was a little tough. Our cat clawed and ran and the chase began. Our cat escaped into the laundry room. After a few minutes Reggie was on to something else. We sprayed Reggie with water and told him no because he tried to climb on the furniture and he responded well. So far things are going very well with Reggie.

Here are two Video's of Reggie when he was in the shelter
